Coliseum is closed Jan. 1, Dec. 24, Black or Holy Saturday afternoon (Easter); We cannot tour on the first Sunday of the month (October to March) as entry is free for all and the lines are really long.
Choose what works best for you: AM Tour. Meet your guide in front of the Coliseum Metro Stop then visit the amphitheater for 1 hour, or do the 2-hour walk if the Roman Forum is included. Then the drive/walk tour. Drop off at your hotel/apartment after the tour. PM Tour. Your driver and your guide will pick you up from your hotel/apartment. Drive/walk tour first to see the heart of Rome, then the Coliseum and/or the Roman Forum visit at the end of the tour.
